Recently there were reports about Alia Bhatt’s refusal to star in S.S Rajamouli’s upcoming big film RRR. The suggested reason was her busy schedule.

The reports have now proved to be wrong as Alia Bhatt and Ajay Devgn have been confirmed for the upcoming film. RRR’s official Twitter handle announced Alia and Ajay’s entry in the film.

Announcing Alia’s entry in the film, RRR’s Twitter handle wrote-

Welcome aboard, @aliaa08! We are glad to have you play the female lead in our film. Happy Birthday in advance and hope you will have a wonderful journey with us..:)

Ajay’s entry was announced as-

Both stars took to Twitter and confirmed the entry.

Alia Bhatt wrote-

The film is a fictional story set in 1920s pre-independent era. It’s based on a few years in the lives of two real heroes and well-known revolutionaries — Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem.

Apart from Alia and Ajay the film has south stars Jr NTR and Ram Charan in lead roles. Jr NTR will be seen as Komaram Bheem and Ram Charan will be playing Alluri Sitharama Raju.
